"Last Light"

I wanted to highlight the final rays of sunlight illuminating Mount Timpanogos and the farming valley below that I once knew. Having farmed at a young age in the morning light and evening shadows of Timpanogos, I wanted to capture the explosion of fall colors in the evening light I would see regularly each fall. The composition is a viewpoint I love to photograph that connects the valley with the mountain peak that provides the fields with water. The interplay of warm golden light against deepening shadows, showcases my love of the dramatic topography of Utah's iconic peak.
